Rumours that the royal family is distancing itself from Australia have been reignited after King Charles chose to celebrate 'bond' with New Zealand.
On February 6 New Zealanders annually celebrate the day that representatives of the British Crown and 500 Maori chiefs signed the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840.
