MANILA -- This year, live indie music in Manila continues its upward trajectory with the return of the successful Karpos Live concert series.

Last year marked the start of Karpos Live, a series of shows geared towards showcasing local and international indie talent. From R&B to rock, and hip-hop to ambient pop, the series broke new ground, as it was refreshing to marvel at full sets by local artists, as well as to welcome debut and/or comeback performances of international indie acts.

For this year’s first installment, Karpos Live Mix 4 features an all-female line-up. Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna, and homegrown R&B/soul artist Kiana Valenciano are set to headline the show on July 22 at the ABS-CBN Vertis Tent in Quezon City. Watch more in iWant or TFC.tv Kiana Valenciano has been paving her own way in the OPM scene with releases like "Does She Know," "5:30," "Misfits," and her 2019 album, "See Me." Having performed here and abroad, it’ll be interesting to hear Valenciano performing tracks from her album like the feel-good "Get Together," the kiss-off anthem "K-bye," or the slow-thumping "Soldier.
