A sheepish Ken Chan confessed that he almost got into a fistfight with Jake Vargas because of a mystery woman in the past, although he clarified that they are already on good terms. | HMallorcaINQ
Chan, who appeared to be laughing in embarrassment, confirmed that it did happen in 2014, but that they have already regained their friendship afterwards. He, however, did not disclose the identity of the woman they fought over.
The actor then revealed that the woman was Vargas’ ex before he entered into the picture, however, he clarified that the actual fistfight did not happen between the two of them. Because of the woman, the Kapuso actors were not on good terms for “about seven years,” before they eventually decided to patch up their friendship.“So, hindi kami nagpansinan ni Jake nang matagal, about seven years, pero kapatid ko ‘yun si Jake eh. Mas mahalaga siya sa’kin kasi naging anak-anakan kami ni [German Moreno]. [And then], nag-usap kami. Nag-sorry kami sa isa’t isa, and sabi namin mas mahalaga ang pagiging ‘magkapatid’ namin dalawa,” he said.
