Kathryn Bernardo, Nadine Lustre, Janine Gutierrez and Alden Richards are just some of the brightest stars nominated in several categories in the 43rd Gawad Urian this year. Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino released the full list of nominees for the sought-after Gawad Urian Awards via Facebook today, Aug. 27. The awards event is scheduled this October.The list includes the nominees for Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Music and Best Sound.
The action film “Babae at Baril”, starring Gutierrez and JC Santos, is considered to be one of the top contenders with nine nominations across the 12 categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Editing, Best Screenplay, Best Actor and Actress, and more.
