GITAHO sa City Health Office nga ang ihap sa mga kaso sa dengue sa siyudad nikubos ngadto sa 2,117 gikan Enero hangtud Hunyo 2024, itandi sa 2,876 ka mga kaso atol sa samang panahon sa niaging tuig.Gikanayon ni Melodina Babante, coordinator sa Tropical Diseases sa CHO, atol sa ISpeak media forum, Huwebes sa buntag, Hulyo 4, 2024, sa City Mayor's Office, nga ang mortality rate nag-ubos sab gikan 27 sa 2023 ngadto sa 17 sa 2024.

Ubos sa section 8 sa City Ordinance 0401-20, Series of 2020, labing nailhan isip Davao City Mosquito-Borne Diseases Prevention and Control Program, matag barangay kinahanglan na nga momugna og 'mosquito-borne diseases prevention and control task force'.
