THE eldest son of Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla was arrested during anti-illegal drug operations in Las Piñas City.Initial reports received by The Manila Times on Thursday identified the person arrested as Juanito Jose Diaz Remulla 3rd, 38, and a resident of 18-D Poblete St., Gaha, BF Homes, Parañaque City.Remulla was said to be the consignee of a parcel from a certain Benjamin Huffman of 1524 Horblend St.
Remulla is scheduled to be arraigned at the Las Piñas Prosecutors Office before being taken to the PDEA jail in Quezon City.In a handwritten statement, Secretary Remulla vowed that he will neither 'interfere in nor influence' in his son's predicament and that he has not done so in any way.'A person should always face the consequences of their actions and I will let justice take its own course,' he said in a handwritten statement.
