Award-winning actress and chef Judy Ann Santos recently had the opportunity to meet culinary legend Gordon Ramsay in person. Following a special event for Ramsay's first restaurant in the Philippines , Gordon Ramsay 's Bar & Grill, Santos was fortunate enough to receive signed copies of two of Ramsay's renowned cookbooks: 'Gordon's Great Escape Southeast Asia' and ' Gordon Ramsay 's Uncharted.
' Santos, who graduated from culinary school earlier this month, proudly shared her signed books on Instagram, expressing her delight. 'Happy to hold signed copies of Chef Gordon Ramsay's books with personal dedication,' she wrote in the caption. The meeting occurred during Ramsay's visit to the Philippines in January, where he hosted a mini 'Masterchef'-like competition at his restaurant. Santos, alongside food influencer Ninong Ry, culinary student Danica Lucero, and Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill PH Head Chef Bea Therese Qua, presented their unique interpretations of the Filipino dessert Halo-Halo. During his visit, Ramsay not only celebrated the opening of his restaurant at Newport World Resorts, but also hinted at future expansion plans for the Philippines. He expressed his interest in opening three additional restaurants in the country, which may even include a branch of the iconic 'Hell's Kitchen.
