Joy Belmonte orders temporary halt to retail operations at Balintawak markets COVID19 LuzonLockdown
MANILA--Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte on Saturday ordered a temporary halt to retail operations at Balintawak markets to adhere to physical-distancing regulations amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
These markets are Cloverleaf, North Diversion, Riverview I, Riverview II, Pilson’s, MC, and Edsan Bagsakan. Local officials said all retail stalls will be closed effective immediately until further notice. Affected retail vendors will be accommodated by the QC Fresh Market on Wheels program.
