Jordan's naturalized player Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has nothing but respect for Gilas Pilipinas.
The 28-year-old Hollis-Jefferson considered it an 'honor' to play against the Philippines, which Jordan hammered, 87-62 in the final day of group play on Saturday, September 30 in the 19th Asian Games men's basketball in Hangzhou, China.'It's always good, they play hard, well-coached,' the left-handed Hollis-Jefferson said, in describing Gilas.
Hollis-Jefferson went on to finish with an all-around effort of 24 points, nine assists and six rebounds,But he did admit that Gilas is familiar with his game, a reason also why he struggled to get good looks in the game.'They're familiar with me too, that's why some of the shots I took were heavily contested,' he recounted.
