Government prosecutors on Thursday filed an attempted homicide case against Philippine Basketball Association player John Amores and his brother over a shooting incident in Lumban, Laguna.Lumban police chief Police Major Bob Louis Ordiz shared a copy of the information filed before the Lumban-Kalayaan Municipal Circuit Trial Court.The recommended bail for Amores is P24,000 and P10,000 for his brother, John Red.
com/fE5KCuVGBn— Joviland Rita September 27, 2024Investigation showed that Amores tried to shoot the victim identified as Lee Cacalda around 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday in Barangay Maytalang Uno after having a heated argument in a basketball game.The victim did not sustain any injuries.Amores and his brother surrendered to authorities around 2 a.m. on Thursday due to alleged threats.According to Amores, he already threw away the gun he used in the shooting incident.
