SINGER-actor Joe Jonas found himself addressing speculation regarding his divorce from British actress Sophie Turner after four 'wonderful years of marriage,' which he described as 'irretrievably broken.'
The divorce petition was filed on September 5 in Miami Dade County, Florida amid reports suggesting differences in their lifestyles.But the former couple issued a joint statement, clarifying that they have 'mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.
In what appeared to be a response to social media backlash, Jonas urged fans not to believe rumors about their relationship 'if you don't hear it from these lips.'At the same time, Jonas thanked 'everyone, for your love and support. Me and my family love you guys.'TMZ reported last week that Turner and Jonas, who share two children, were headed for divorce after six months of relationship 'problems.
