According to them, during the height of the pandemic, they planned a trip to the US to get vaccinated, but at the same time, to harvest an embryo and find a surrogate.“So, meron na kaming isang perfect na embryo ta’s kailangan na lang namin maghanap ng perfect din na surrogate na magca-carry nu’n. So, during the pandemic, meron sana kaming nahanap na isang surrogate kaso hindi kami nagkasundo du’n. Du’n sa pangalawang surrogate, ‘yun na ‘yung…” Dennis related.
“Napili namin na perfect para du’n sa embryo na ‘yun. Pagkatapos naman, okay na lahat, Okay na. May schedule na ng implant. Nakilala na namin ‘yung surrogate, mababait sila, tapos magpipirmahan na lang kami ng kontrata and iiinject na lang ‘yung embryo sa kanya ngayong October dapat. So, nu’ng time na ‘yun, si Jen, nasa lock-in taping na siya nu’n.”“Nasa lock-in taping ako nu’n so meron kaming 10-day quarantine sa hotel dito lang sa Manila. Tapos ‘yung feeling ko ‘yung parang lahat ang panget.
“Tapos dumating ako sa taping. Pagdating ko sa taping, sa set—kasi may kanya-kanyang villa naiyak na naman ako; ‘yung parang naiyak ako sa sobrang ganda. ‘Di ko maintindihan! Sabi ko, “Ano’ng nangyayari sa ‘kin?” Ta’s iyak lang ako nang iyak.
