In a Chika Minute report by Lhar Santiago on GMA News “24 Oras” last Friday, it was said that Jean and Barbie became close to each other when they worked together in the TV series “The Half Sisters.
” “Basta ako, anytime na kailangan lang ako ni Barbie, kailangan niya ng kausap, kailangan niyang mag-vent-out, kailangan niya ang suporta ko, at kailangan niya ng taong makikinig sa kaniya at gusto niya ng shoulder to cry on, andito lang Alam naman ni Barbie 'yon,” Jean said. Rita also shared the same sentiment, believing that Barbie had carefully considered her decision. “Alam n'yo po, kaya rin kami naging magkaibigan ni Barang, kasi masasabi kong parehas kami ng... siguro 'yung energy when it comes to people and I guess on also deciding, making decisions.
