Alvin John Tayamin, an active member of the Philippine National Police assigned at Mandug Police Station.Tayamin voluntarily surrendered shortly after the incident. Investigation revealed that the two figured in an altercation before the suspect shot the victim in the face.
Hansel Marantan in a statement said the suspect has already been restricted from duty at the station pending a thorough investigation.'While I am prepared to take full responsibility if this incident is found to be connected to the official duties of our personnel, initial indications suggest a personal matter was involved.
