PRESIDENT Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. will be meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Malacañang later this week, Malacañang confirmed on Tuesday.
Kishida is slated for an official visit to the country on November 3 and 4.The Presidential Communications Office said the Chief Executive will officially welcome the Japanese leader in the Palace on Friday, November 3.
'The two leaders will hold a bilateral meeting to discuss areas of mutual concern such as political, security, economic and development cooperation, as well as people-to-people ties,' the PCO quoted the Department of Foreign Affairs as saying.The last time Marcos and Kishida met was on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit in Indonesia last September.
