Several months after the death of her pet dog Max, Janella Salvador is in grief once again as she lost Twinkie, the actress’ pet cat of 17 years.
Salvador showed moments from Twinkie’s wake while recalling how he was gifted to her when she was just 7 years old, through her Instagram page on Monday, Jan. 16.“The hardest part about loving animals is knowing that you’re bound to outlive them,” she said. “That’s [7-year-old] me in February ‘06, proud and ecstatic to be holding my advanced 8th birthday gift from my mama,” she added. “I found him at a pet shop in Pasay and fell in love so fast that I didn’t want to leave him behind and wait for my birthday.”
