Filipino-British gymnast Jake Jarman instantly became known in the Philippines as he competed alongside Carlos Yulo in the gymnastics events of the 2024 Paris Olympics .Representing Great Britain, Jarman bagged the bronze medal in the floor finals, while the Philippines' Yulo bagged two gold medals from the finals of floor exercise and vault."Double Olympic champion in one Olympics as well, I don't know how many people have ever done that before.
Jarman traces his roots to Cebu, the hometown of her mother, where he also lived when he was very young. Asked if he is also willing to don the Philippine colors, Jarman said it would be 'amazing,' but at least for the next Olympic cycle, he will stick with Team GB."For me, competing for the Philippines, it would be amazing, but at the moment, it's hard for me to make a decision like that," he said.
