Jaja Santiago is not yet done with her Japan volleyball career as she was invited to join Japan's national team training camp, the Japan Volleyball Association confirmed on Friday afternoon, March 8. 'We are pleased to announce that two trainees, Jaja Santiago of JT Marvelous and Melissa Valdez of the PFU Blue Cats, will participate in the training camp of Japan's Women's National Volleyball Team,' JVA wrote in a post on its socials.
Santiago, who is also in the lineup of the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Premier Volleyball League 2024 All-Filipino Conference, is still eligible to play with her local club. PVL competition director Sherwin Malonzo confirmed that as long as the team included her in its 20-player lineup, Santiago can play in the league. 'Jaja was in the lineup of Chery Tiggo and if she arrives, she can play,' Malonzo said.
