A savage transcript of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern insulting ACT Party Leader David Seymour has sold for $100,100, with the proceeds going towards the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
A transcript of the moment New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern labelled ACT Party Leader David Seymour an"arrogant prick" has sold for NZD$100,100 .
The charity auction received more than 280 bids and closed on Thursday, with the transcript sold above the reserve. "Can’t say I expected this…..a faux pas with the old mic in parliament has turned into $100,100 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation," she wrote on Thursday. The two politician's first opened the charity auction on December 15 in a move to raise money for prostate cancer and research into better diagnosis and treatments.
“Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi men and the third highest cause of cancer death in men after lung cancer and bowel cancer.", Ms Ardern was answering a question from Mr Seymour, who was pressing the Prime Minister to provide an example of “her making a mistake, apologising for it properly and fixing it”.“I stand by the work that we have done as a government over this last year and over this past term,” she said.
