The Intertropical Convergence Zone and easterlies are affecting parts of the country on Sunday and will bring rain showers over several areas, PAGASA said in its forecast.The ITCZ is affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, PAGASA weather specialist Grace Castañeda said in the agency's public weather forecast.The Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.
Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro on the other hand may expect mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to ITCZ, the area where the winds from the northern and southern hemisphere meet.Metro Manila, Calabarzon and the rest of the country will have isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ and easterlies, which are warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.
