As coronavirus empties churches, an Italian priest holds mass with photos of parishioners in a parish in Italy's Lombardy region.

Father Giuseppe Corbari said he wanted to find a way to be with his 5,500 registered parishioners because he felt “isolated” after public masses in the region were suspended on February 24.

The parish priest then issued a clarion call through the parish’s Telegram account for people to send him photos do he could tape them to the pews inside the church.
