“Directing dollars to school boards through fewer restricted or enveloped grants provides greater flexibility and allows us to determine where to allocate resources to meet the needs of our students,” said Kara Layher, CBE spokeswoman.
In 2018-19, CBE had 34 FTEs . This school year, there are 33.8. Of those, 9.6 are currently dedicated to students requiring unique supports in specialized settings, moving from school to school within the system.
