Vowing to destroy Hamas, Israel has conducted a retaliatory offensive that has killed at least 34,683 people in Gaza, mostly women and children, the Hamas-run territory's Health Ministry said.About 1.2 million people are sheltering in Rafah, the World Health Organization said.In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces called on Gazans living in eastern Rafah to head to an 'expanded humanitarian area' on the territory's coast near the city.
