Vancouver Island's Morgan Jackson helps Team Canada win gold at women's U18 championship
The Shawnigan Lake School student from Courtenay helped Team Canada rout Sweden 10-0 to claim its second consecutive gold win at the women’s world under-18 hockey championship Sunday.
“She has worked so hard and deserves it. Shawnigan Lake School is extremely proud of her. She has a very bright future ahead of her!” “Her ice time increased steadily over the course of the tournament as she earned opportunities to play in high-stakes situations,” read the release.
