Moreno said while Manila Bay is located in their city, jurisdiction of the dolomite beach is with the DENR due to the agency’s ongoing rehabilitation project in the area.“Ang ironic kasi dyan, sila ang nagpapatupad, sila rin ang lumalabag tapos iisipin nila na susunod ang tao [It’s ironic because they are the ones supposed to implement yet they are the ones who violate and they think the public would still follow them],” Moreno said in an interview with ABS-CBN News Channel.
