Heads up museum goers! This newest attraction in Intramuros might be just for you and for your family!It's called Centro de Turismo Intramuros and according to Darlene Cay's Balintanghali report on Monday, the interactive museum will open its door to the public for free on Independence Day, June 12.“The intention is to go back to our roots, learn the history of Intramuros,” Atty. Joan Padilla, the Executive Director of the Intramuros Administration said.
Visitors can scan the QR code provided in every artifact in the museum and watch educational videos about history while touring around, but for better understanding of Philippine history, a guided tour is also available to the visitors. Located in the old San Ignacio Church, which was destroyed during World War II, Centro will be open every from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
