June 7, 2023 1:27pmThe giant 'Voltes V' inflatable paid a visit to our Kapuso friends in New York!, the giant inflatable made a stopover in Little Manila in Woodside, Queens, New York, where it called attention among community.
Fellow "Voltes V" fans in the Filipino town made sure to take snaps with the inflatable during its short stay.According to GMA Pinoy TV exec Joseph Francia, bringing the inflatable to various Filipino communities in the U.S. is one way "to honor the gains in the fight for Pinoy representation." On Friday and in time for the Philippine Independence Day celebration, it will land in Bolingbrook, southwest of Chicago.
It will then return to Bergenfield on Sunday, for its family fun day, giving fans more chances for photo ops!, “I grew up in the Philippines watching 'Voltes V,' so when I had the opportunity to invite you to come to Bergenfield, I took it…I'm so proud that 'Voltes V' is here in our local community in Bergenfield.”
The inflatable’s tour around the United States is part of GMA’s initiatives to celebrate of the upcoming Philippine Independence Day with our kababayans abroad.
