JOHOR BARU, March 23 — Johor police seized 44.3 kilogrammes of various types of illicit drugs worth more than RM3.22 million from separate raids around the city yesterday.

Johor police chief Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said the drugs were seized in three raids conducted in three gated residential areas in this city. “This includes using their vehicle as a storage and operating safely in an enclosed residential area,” Kamarul Zaman told reporters during a press conference at the Johor police contingent headquarters here today.

“In total, the confiscated valuables amounted to RM210,000 while the total amount including the drugs and confiscated property was at RM3.5 million,” said Kamarul Zaman.
