July is Nutrition Month! On Sunday, Mandaluyong City held a Nutri-Fun Run attended by thousands of residents.
Aside from students and their parents, government officials and personnel also joined the marathon, including Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos.
The 14th Nutri-Fun run in Mandaluyong only marked the start of the many activities the city has prepared for Nutrition Month. Apart from the marathon, Mandaluyong will also hold “Burn It Out! Fat Out! exhibit, launching a dietary supplementation program, and a symposium on “Healthy Diet Gawing Affordable for All,” among others.
