In Bulacan, Robredo asks the clergy: ‘Join us in fighting demons’ | MB_RAntonio
BULACAN — Vice President Leni Robredo, on Saturday, March 5, called on the clergy to help them in “fighting all the demons” and ensure that the people will elect candidates based on truth this coming May elections.
In her message at the Immaculate Concepcion Major Seminary in Brgy. Tabe, Guiguinto, Bulacan, the Vice President lamented that the worse thing that can happen is for the elections to be decided by fake news and misinformation.“So ang hinihingi po namin sa inyo if you can join us– if you can join us in fighting all the demons that have been hounding us,” Robredo said, adding that with 65 days to go before Election Day, “it is enough time for us to go out, to reach out.
“Ito lang po ‘yung pag-asa natin para to bring about the kind of change that we need for our country. Bawat eleksyon po, pagkakataon na reset lahat , and these elections is the biggest reset button,” she stressed.“My appeal to really calling everyone to join us in the next 65 days to make sure that our elections will really be– the results of the elections will really be what will be the best for the country,” Robredo added.
