ILOILO CITY — The No. 1 most wanted person in the province of Iloilo was arrested in Barangay San Julian, Janiuay town, on Tuesday.

The Iloilo Provincial Police Office said the suspect, identified as alias 'Boy-Boy,' 28, a laborer and resident of Barangay Yabon in this town, was apprehended on the strength of a warrant of arrest.Boy-Boy is facing murder charges and has been evading law enforcement since 2023, according to the IPPO.

The court recommended no bail to the suspect's case.IPPO director Col. Bayani Razalan commended the officers involved in the arrest and assured the public that law enforcement agencies will strengthen their efforts to apprehend all wanted persons in the province.'We will continue our relentless pursuit of all fugitives to ensure that safety, peace and order prevail,' said Razalan.
