ILOILO City was recognized with numerous awards at the 7th Regional Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index Awards held at Zuri Hotel on Friday, October 13, 2023.The city was recognized as the 'Most Competitive Highly Urbanized City' and 'Most Improved Highly Urbanized City' at the Philippine Creative Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Congress by the Department of Trade and Industry -Western Visayas.
