SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Antique — Iloilo City has cemented itself as the “Bike Capital of the Philippines” after successfully hosting the Iloilo Bike Festival 2022 on Sunday, July 31. Salvador Sarabia, director of the Iloilo City Meetings Incentives Conventions Events Center, said being considered as the “Bike Capital of the Philippines” can be a source of pride for the Ilonggos and the country.
Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas praised the city government through the Mice Center for its successful marketing campaign centered on the Iloilo City Network to entice people to be part of the experience of the city’s bike pathways.
