ILOILO CITY – With the rising number of clustered cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in this city, the Iloilo City government is set to re-impose strict measures that aims to curb the spread of the viral disease in communities.

A curfew will be implemented starting Friday while the city government will no longer accept any new returning overseas Filipino workers and locally stranded individuals .Mayor Jerry Treñas in a statement Thursday, August 6. This came as 29 new COVID-19 cases emerged at the Iloilo City Fish Port, and increased the total number of COVID-19 infections to 55 cases.
