The New South Wales leader was unveiling a statue of one of the nation's greatest cricket players when he got confused about the name of Australia's first female governor-general.
The state Liberal leader was outside the Sydney Cricket Ground to help unveil the statue of one of Australia's greatest cricket players, Belinda Clark.
Mr Perrottet revealed the state government would immortalise Clark with a bronze statue, the first female cricket player in the world to have a sculpture erected.
