Hyundai is reportedly considering bringing back its popular B-segment sedan to PH

, we were blown away by its looks and level of technology. Borrowing styling cues from the Stargazer and Staria, the B-segment sedan not only looks futuristic but is also packed to the brim with the brand’s latest amenities like wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, as well as Smartsense intelligent driver aids.

This is good news since the Accent has been a favorite among Hyundai customers ever since it was first launched in the country in the mid-2000s. It also proved to be quite popular against the likes of the Toyota Vios and Honda City until it was axed from the local lineup in favor of crossovers & MPVs. But why did HMPH take so long to decide to bring back the Accent?

But with the all-new Accent now available in Vietnam, HMPH could take advantage of the ASEAN Free Trade in order to price the sedan competitively. Add the fact that Vietnam is a left-hand drive market, the automaker can ship the vehicle without any major modifications.
