With the clothing and footwear industries being the hardest hit by the pandemic, t-shirt brand Team Manila has shifted to virtual marketplace in order to survive the “new normal.”
Team Manila co-founder Jowee Alviar said the pandemic led them to close some of their mall stores because of the crisis.
Known for its statement shirts showcasing the Filipino culture, Alviar said that Team Manila has still retained its connection with its market. The brand released early this year a design with national hero Jose Rizal wearing shades and a face mask, to show support to the frontliners.
