A prayer room for Muslim congressmen and employees is being readied in the House of Representatives in time for Ramadan.
"Plan ko din i-launch siya on Wednesday ," Mastura said, referring to March 22, which is the final session day before Congress goes on its lengthy summer break.
A Facebook post from the lady solon Thursday, March 16 showed that the particular room is already being readied as far the layout and needed materials are concerned.Mastura said that Andaya Hall within the main building of Batasan Complex had been used as Muslim prayer room during past session days. It was Mastura who requested from House Speaker Martin Romualdez last year that a prayer room be provided for Muslim members and workers in the current 19th Congress.
