Members of the House of Representatives, citing the Philippine Constitution, "reaffirmed" their support for President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. on Thursday.In a two-page manifesto titled “A Declaration of Unity, Loyalty, and Resolve in Defense of the Nation,” the House led by the President’s cousin and Speaker Martin Romualdez said that the House members are unwavering on their commitment to defend the democratic institutions and sovereignty of the nation.
“We, the Members of the House of Representatives, solemnly affirm that our collective strength lies in the unity of purpose, fidelity to our democratic principles, and unwavering commitment to serve the Filipino people,” they added.
