House of Representatives confirms 8th COVID19 case
MANILA - The House of Representative on Saturday said that one of its staff tested positive for the coronavirus disease , becoming the chamber's 8th confirmed case.
He said the patient, currently in the province, had stayed in the staff house and visited House premises once and had interacted with some people. The chief of staff has tested negative from the virus while the two others exposed to the patient "are yet to be tested."The report came amid preparations for the President's annual State of the Nation Address , held traditionally at the Batasang Pambansa complex.
