The document was signed by Romualdez; Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio Gonzales Jr.; Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe; Agusan del Norte Rep. Jose Aquino II, Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats Secretary General; Camarines Sur Rep. Luis Raymund Villafuerte, National Unity Party President; Rizal Rep. Michael John Duavit, Nationalist People’s Coalition President; Surigao del Norte Rep. Robert Ace Barbers, Nacionalista Party stalwart; San Jose del Monte Rep.

“As mandated by the Constitution, we commit to mobilizing all legislative resources to safeguard the Republic against threats to its independence, security and peace. We will support initiatives that strengthen national defense, public order and social stability.” As this developed, House Deputy Majority Leader and La Union Rep. Paolo Ortega V clarified the fellowship at the Palace was not in any way connected to the two impeachment complaints filed against the Vice President.
