The hot-shooting of Serbia, which marched to its second finals appearance in the last three editions of the World Cup, was typified by the performance of Bogdanovic who finished with 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field and 3-of-4 clip from the deep. Marko Guduric and Aleksa Avramovic were also solid off the bench for Serbia with 12 and 10, respectively.
RJ Barrett tried to will the Canadians back into the game, leading the way with 23 points but was not enough as they simply cannot break through the eight-point barrier the Serbians held for the most part of the second half.
