Hospital bill ng COVID-19 patient umabot ng P1.3 milyon
Ngayong nakatatawa na ulit siya, hindi mo aakalaing nalagay sa panganib ang buhay ni Juliet Alunan, na na-discharge sa ospital kamakailan matapos makipaglaban sa bagong coronavirus disease .
"'Yong difficulty of breathing talaga, that's the time na parang mapupugto 'yong hininga ko kapag uubo na ako ta's sabay na hirap na akong huminga," ani Alunan sa panayam ng ABS-CBN News. Nasa isip na lang daw ni Alunan noong mga panahong iyon ang kaniyang asawa at 3 anak, lalo at ang pangalawa niyang anak ay isang child with different needs.
Bumuti ang lagay ni Alunan matapos ang 4 na araw, pero ikinagulat naman niya ang mataas na singil para sa gamutan ng COVID-19, na umabot sa P1.3 milyon."Talagang mahirap kapag wala kang pera sa ganitong sitwasyon, although alam naman natin na mayroon tayo na blessing kasi nakahabol pa ako sa benefits ng Philhealth," ani Alunan.
