No. The FiberXers didn’t clinch a playoff spot just yet. In fact, it was even too early to consider them as contenders. The FiberXers tore the game apart in the third frame as Hopson and Alec Stockton presided over a 47-18 onslaught that established them a lead that went to as high as 33 points after only taking a 53-49 lead at the half.
Hopson, who also went 2-of-3 from three, also collared eight rebounds and two blocks in the stellar PBA debut. Stockton added 21 points – 13 of which he fired during the telling third quarter run.
