THE weekly flag-raising rites obligatory held during Monday mornings in all government offices, local government units (LGUs), schools and colleges, and other government entities is a symbol of every Filipino’s love for himself/herself and the country. This was the gist of the message delivered by Rep.

Camille Villar joined officials and employees of the city government of Caloocan during their recent weekly flag-raising ceremony, where she highlighted the importance of tradition in the daily lives of all Filipinos. In her speech, Rep Villar said celebrating traditions is one’s way of preserving and uplifting the country’s history. With her is Cong. Oca Malapitan, Mayor Along Malapitan and City Council of Caloocan.
This was the gist of the message delivered by Rep. Camille Villar during a recent flag-raising ceremony of the Caloocan City LGU where she was invited as guest speaker. She added: “Napakahalaga sa akin at sa aking pamilya ang patuloy na pagdiriwang ng ganitong mga tradisyon… Naniniwala kami sa halaga ng ganitong mga tradisyon at selebrasyon bilang paraan upang mapanatili ang ating kasaysayan.”
