Angelica Yulo on Wednesday apologized to her two-time Olympic gold medalist son, Carlos Yulo , after breaking her silence about their rift, which drew attention online.“Hindi ako perpektong ina at alam ng Diyos na hindi ka din perpektong anak at walang perpektong pamilya. Walang ibang hangad ang isang ina kung hindi ang ikabubuti ng kaniyang anak at sa bawat miyembro ng pamilya,” Angelica said in a statement.
“Kung mali man ang naging pagpuna ko sa nobya mo, humihingi ako ng patawad dahil nanay lang ako na nag-aalala.”“Humihingi ako ng patawad sa iyo at sa sambayanan sa mga nasabi ko sa interview,” Angelica said in her message to Carlos.“Pagod at puyat ako sa kapapanood sa iyo noong mga panahon na iyon. Hindi makatulog sa tuwa kahit tapos na ang iyong laban. Hindi ako nakapag-isip nang mabuti nang nirapido ako ng mga tanong ng mga reporter tungkol sa bagay na dapat ay tayo na lamang ang nag-ayos.
