MANILA, Philippines — After a year-long recovery from a knee injury, Imee Hernandez is eager to return to the court with Chery Tiggo in the upcoming Premier Volleyball League 2024 All-Filipino Conference .Despite rumors of key players leaving the team, Hernandez remains focused on the six-month tournament. 'We're all excited to show what we have in Chery Tiggo. Our goal remains the same – the championship,' she told The Manila Times.
'Having an injury requires a lot of patience. It's not just three weeks or a month; you need to be patient,' she shared in a PVL documentary.With the team's preparations underway, Hernandez awaits green light to play from her management. Chery Tiggo finished fourth in the previous All-Filipino Conference, led by notable players Eya and EJ Laure, Aby Maraño, Mylene Paat, Ara Galang, and Zac Carandang.
