March 28, 2023 5:16pmNow that "Hamilton" is confirmed to be staged in the Philppines — in September at The Theater in Solaire — here's everything we know so far.

“Hamilton” made its southern hemisphere premiere in Sydney in March 2021 and then made its way to Melbourne and Brisbane. According to the statement, it is now set to embark on its first international tour, starting in Auckland in May. “Hamilton fans from the Philippines have been telling us for years how much they want to see the show, many of them have travelled to see it all over the world. It is a thrill to, finally, be able to bring it to them,” said Michael Cassel, producer of the international tour of “Hamilton."

There is no announcement yet if there will be Filipino theater actors who will join the staging of "Hamilton" but it's well worth nothing that Filipino actors Karylle Tatlonghari and Markki Stroem played lead roles in “The Sound of Music," which was produced by GMG Productions.
