Nissan Philippines has unveiled the refreshed Almera.
Boasting enhanced styling, safety, and connectivity features, this sub-compact sedan also introduces Nissan Connect Services to the country for the first time.
The EL Turbo gets standard halogen headlights, while both the VE Turbo and VL Turbo upgrades them to LEDs. The two higher grades also benefit from LED daytime running lights and LED front fog lights. Separating the VL Turbo, it gets 205/55R16 wheels and tires—an inch up from the 195/65R15 found on the VE Turbo. The EL Turbo, meanwhile gets steelies with full covers.
Standard across the line-up are 6 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, and Vehicle Dynamics Control with Hill Start Assist. The VE Turbo adds a 360-degree camera with Moving Object Detection, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Emergency Braking; while the VL Turbo goes all in with Blind Spot Warning with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and Tire Pressure Monitoring.
Like before, the Almera accommodates a 7-inch TFT meter within its gauge cluster , but new for the 2024 update is the 8-inch Advanced Touchscreen Display which now receives both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.
