National Task Force against Covid-19 special adviser Dr. Ted Herbosa once again reiterated the importance of getting vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19 amid the emergence of new subvariants and the lingering threat of waning immunity.

National Task Force against Covid-19 special adviser Dr. Teodoro “Ted” Herbosa, on Sunday, April 17, once again reiterated the importance of getting vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19 amid the emergence of new subvariants and the lingering threat of waning immunity.

Meanwhile, in order to encourage the unvaccinated population to get inoculated, Herbosa said that the national government has been implementing house-to-house vaccinations and it also expanded its existing vaccination drives in selected drugstores in the Philippines. Apart from getting vaccinated and boosted, Herbosa underscored the importance of wearing a face mask to prevent the occurence of another Covid-19 surge.

“Hinihintay lang natin na maglabas ang National Vaccination Operations Center ng implementing rules and regulation kung paano makakakuha ng second booster shot at kung sino ang dapat bigyan ,” said Herbosa.
